    Alex returned to cricket in 2007 after serving with the Royal Marines and has been a very successful component of the LCCC order.  Happiest at 3 or 4, Alex combines a very sound technique with the ability to hit a truly massive ball.  A tidy wicket-keeper and a livewire in the field, his presence was sorely missed during an injruy plagued 2010.
