In a conference fixture against a strong Preston, Colney turned up with a very weak team.

Captain Tim Fretter won the toss and elected to field.

and that was as good as it got really......

Bowled poorly, fielding very poorly and batted very, very poorly.

Moment of the day was:

Richard Rouse at deep midwicket, dropping three catches.
He did, eventually, catch one late in the day.
However, Richard was waiting under a high catch, hands high...
The ball bounced out of his hand, onto his head and back over the ropes for six.

We were severely outclassed, but a 1st XI team......
