Heralding from sunny Sri Lanka, Maclan is Colney's overseas bowler who is seemingly from another planet altogether. A seam bowler whose crazy run up is only matched by his crazy ideas, Macca has the ability to generate good pace and move the ball off the seam. Also blessed with a good eye and the ability to hit a long cricket ball, LCCC will feel they've not seen the best of him yet.
Special Move: Passing First Time
Another one of LCCC's 'Duff Aussies', no one can remember quite how the club came by Craig, but two centuries for the League 2nd XI during the 2014 season certainly left an impression. A left hander in the mould of Matt Elliot, strong through backward point and off his hip, Craig has split his LCCC days between opening the batting for the 2nd XI and being the 1st XIs utility man, and as a result has batted in a number of different positions. Apparently he heralds from Perth originally, but we all know he's a Saffa!
Special Move: Last Over Maiden
Nicknames: Pinky, JP, J-Pizzle
John follows in the finest of Colney traditions in being a hard hitting lower-middle order batsman and a naggingly accurate medium pacer. John began his playing career with Colney's 2nd XI but quickly showed an ability to get the Readers ball to 'hoop' and was quickly promoted to the first team. John's finest moment in a Colney shirt came in August 2015 when he reduced Preston II from a healthy 73-0 to 78-7 by taking 6 wickets, 4 of them in one over including a memorable hat-trick. John also has a century to his name, scored for the Sunday 2nd XI, but awaits his first 1st XI league 50.
Special Move: Stealing run outs, Hat-trick Hero
